I would like to hold a family reunion in Tampa in June 2003, due to interest that people expressed at Camille's wedding.

Food: Italian food catered. Feel free to bring something special as well. The theme is Sicilian food, ie salad, anchovies, scacciata, salcicia abruzzo, cheese, some of those little Strufoli things for desert - tasty!

Place: In Tampa. I think at an outdoor covered pavilion, with barbecue, swimming and an indoor air conditioned area.

Activities: Bingo, kids games, treasure hunt, swimming, examine the family tree, swap family stories, eating, etc. We can sit around and brag about the family wine (that is Antinori chianti and I honestly don't think they are related to us in any way!). I want to set up a projector to show a slide show of family photos on a loopback sequence. I would like to have a computer and scanner on on hand to scan family photos. The reward for everyone bringing the photos is that they can receive a photo CD afterwards, which I will burn for people.

It will be FUN, I promise you. So we need to decide the place and the time. In the old days, everyone got together at Aunt Molly's lake place, and that was before my time. So don't be a stranger, give me your thoughts and lets get things going. Of course, the time, precious money and energy required for the effort will be considerable, especially considering that me and Maria are expecting and will be nurturing a new baby from July 2002.

I can send out the invitations as well. Folks that are traveling down will have to make room arrangements themselves. Some people may have extra rooms in their houses to share.
