Aunt Molly was one of the most colorful and interesting members of our family.
She was the first honorary woman mayor, or Alcadesa, of Ybor City,
one of the few and successful female business proprietors in Tampa (Columbia Music and Appliance Company),
smart and head strong (President of Pilots International).
She also initiated the idea and fostered the founding of the first Girl’s Club in Tampa.
Never once did she drive on an expressway choosing instead to travel an extra ˝ hour to get to work.
She was truly a unique person known and loved by all. - Ron Antinori, Sr.
The amazing photograph below is taken at the Tampa Coliseum on December 31, 1931, which is why the banner says 'Merry Christmas'. Have you ever seen such a wedding party?! The picture is so large I had to scan four sections separately. Joe Dionigi was recenly able to acquire the picture from a relative of Mario Perla.
